My daughter says eating together without phones feels "old-fashioned." Is it still worth protecting?

We were having dinner together when someone reached for their phone, and it started an interesting family conversation. Our kids don't see it as rude—they simply grew up differently. I'm curious whether family meals without screens are still something we intentionally preserve?
